Education Research Complete
Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. Education Research Complete provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,500 journals, as well as full text for more than 750 journals, and includes full text for more than 100 books and monographs, and for numerous education-related conference papers.

Guide to over 2,000 contemporary testing instruments, provides coverage from Volume 9 to the present

SPORTDiscus with Full Text
SPORTDiscus with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive source of full text for sports & sports medicine journals, providing full text for more than 415 journals indexed in SPORTDiscus. Of those, nearly 250 have cover-to-cover indexing in SPORTDiscus. With more than 700,000 full-text articles dating back to 1985, SPORTDiscus with Full Text is the definitive research tool for all areas of sports and sports medicine literature.

Digital Dissertations - (Coming soon) Doctoral dissertations and master's theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline. The massive body of work available through ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (PQDT) represents the most comprehensive source of academic research in the world.

ERIC (Ebsco) The 2006 ERIC reload and data format change has been completed and the up-to-date version of the database is now available on EBSCO host . Records marked by ERIC as "peer-reviewed" can be easily accessed via a new check-box limiter . The thesaurus has been upgraded to include new terms and the database now contains more than 1,194,000 records and links to more than 100,000 full text documents from ERIC .

Research Connections (free database) offers a comprehensive and easily searchable collection of more than 10,000 resources from the many disciplines related to child care and early education. To find the most current Reports & Papers, Fact Sheets & Briefs, Executive Summaries, Datasets, and Instruments & Measures, conduct a search or browse Recently Added Resources .

Buley Basement Updates

The ground floor of Buley Library will remain closed and there will be limited access to the Juvenile Collection, Oversized Collection, Microforms, and print periodicals (back issues up to Oct. 2006). Most of the journals are available online through the library homepage. The current journals arrived after the flood are now shelved on the first floor of the building. If you have questions regarding to ways of accessing the online journals or how to locate specific journals online, feel free to contact me or the reference desk (392-5732/5733).
