My career in Anthropology began as an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley. One of my courses was Human Osteology with Dr. Tim White—a tough course that became the basis for my future work.

During summers, I volunteered at digs in Belize, Israel, Peru, and California. After graduation, I worked as an osteologist in contract archaeology, where I honed my skills in data collection from human skeletal remains. Ph.D. studies followed at UC Santa Barbara in the Walker Lab. Read other articles from the Walker Lab »
