The ETHICOMP Conference Series
In the Spring semester of 1995, as a Visiting Professor at De Montfort University in Leicester, England, I cooperated with Professor Simon Rogerson to create the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility (CCSR) and to organize and direct ETHICOMP95, an international computer ethics conference. CCSR was the first European research center in computer ethics, and ETHICOMP95 was the first European computer ethics conference.
Since that time, Professor Rogerson's research center and mine have cooperated on many projects, including the creation of an international conference series — the ETHICOMP conferences. So far, the series has included the following:
