My general area of interest is condensed matter theory of correlated many-body systems. My recent efforts have
focused on the study of highly frustrated magnetism - with an emphasis on large moment, rare-earth materials:
Ho2Ti2O7 and Dy2Ti2O7 (spin-ices), Tb2Ti2O7 (a cooperative paramagnet or spin liquid), Gd2Ti2O7, Gd3Ga5O12
(an antiferromagnetic garnet), and the hyperkagome lattice (a diluted spin ice). I am also working on a project
to study frustration in the Hubbard model, triangular and kagome (in the future) lattices. Much of my work is
numerical in nature - mean-field theory models solved numerically and Monte Carlo simulations. Hence another
area of interest is the general study of numerical methods for many-body systems.
An updated statement on research interests and current projects is planned for the near future.
