Long Paper #2 (Final Paper) – Problems in Philosophy

In this course we discussed the impact of technology on our conceptions of the human being, God, and nature. Pick one of these areas and discuss:

1. Whether the impact has been positive, negative, or somewhere in the middle. Explain your view in detail and justify it, using relevant points or examples such as those we discussed in class.

2. Whether this impact is due to something intrinsic to the nature of technology or due to the way we have chosen to use technology. This will require you to explain your view on the nature of technology in some detail.

5 full pages minimum, 8 pages maximum; Separate title page; 1 inch margins; 12 pt. type; Double-spaced; Times-New Roman font; Page numbers; Stapled.

As required for L-courses, your papers will be graded for spelling, grammar, organization, etc., in addition to the content. If you have difficulties in these areas, I recommend that you take your paper to the Campus Writing Center in Wintergreen before turning it in.
