Take a position on the Capital Punishment debate and formulate 3 independent reasons in support of your position. Use these reasons to form three separate arguments. Write the arguments in standard form, numbering each of the premises and the conclusion and stating the conclusion after the premises. The conclusion of each argument should be the same, either “Therefore it is morally acceptable for the state to use the death penalty as a criminal punishment” or “Therefore it is not morally acceptable for the state to use the death penalty as a criminal punishment”.
