Logic Writing Assignment #13

Write a short paper discussing the types of arguments that are commonly used in your major and how they are used. This may require some research, including brief interviews of professors in this area. If you don’t have a major yet, pick one; if you are a double major, pick one of the two majors. Write the paper in a standard essay format, with a brief introduction and conclusion. You will be given credit for three writing assignments.

Minimum of 2 full pages, maximum 4 pages. Provide full citations for any quotation or paraphrase, (not necessary for interviews) using any standard method that provides all of the relevant information (including exact page numbers). Number pages and staple; 12 point type; Double-spaced; 1-1.5 inch margins; Separate cover page; No extra spaces, extraneous titles or headers, or anything else intended to make the paper appear longer than it really is. Make sure your papers are well written.
