Short Paper #1: What is a Community?

Carefully define and analyze the concept of a community. Consider questions like the following: In what does a community consist? How small or large is it? What purpose does it serve? You can start with a dictionary definition if you want (there is no need to cite the dictionary) and I recommend using an example from your personal experience. Stay focused on the central issue and don’t waste space on irrelevant or minor issues, cramming in too many examples, excessive headings, etc.
