Prof. Rhea Paul grew up in Mt. Carmel, PA, and Vineland, NJ. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University, her Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Dr. Paul has published over 70 papers in refereed journals, and has written seven books on children's language development and disorders. She was been the recipient of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation's New Investigator Award in 1985, the Millar Award for Faculty Excellence in 1988, the Faculty Scholar Award from SCSU in 1999, and the Editor's Award from the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology in 1996. She is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
